Dance with the Devil - Pogodova

I shall not to mention the biography of photographers Radek Skoda. Only so much, we guess and feel his punk background and his inclination for Hieronymus Bosch and HR Giger, in his themes so how he took his pictures.
They are very important themes and it is very good, that our creator did it and took it in his own way. He has not fear to surprise and he took his photos without all usual clichés, what very often come by these so important subjects.
We see his affection for Andy Warhol in Zyklon I-IV or Tripus, but why not? Warhol is one of pioneers and we have our own affinity for him and also a kind of ownership-feeling to him eventually, his relatives stay still ever in Slowakia.
Profit and Profit II mirrors reality of our times, this reality, what we live – author Skoda says it directly. I find also his way of making by themes of ossuary in Kutna Hora very successful.
The Last Supper, The Scream and Sorrow are very strong statements of this young artist, so I would like to hope, he can also address our younger generations, what is not ever possible, when we bore them with dry-as-dust and colourless instructs and lessons.
Little Black Angel is wonderful baroque and morbid. It is also owns – and they are we again and Skoda can show it in his own way.
